We Believe...
The Bible to be the inspired Word of God, revealing God as three persons in One; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, and revealing man as a sinner in need of salvation.
The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection and His ascension to the right hand of the Father.
The foundational doctrines of Jesus Christ, being repentance from dead works, faith toward God, baptism, the laying on of hands, resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment.
The baptism of the Holy Spirit, often accompanied by a supernatural prayer language.
The gifts of the Holy Spirit operating in the church.
Healing for the body, soul and spirit, which was provided for us by the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ.
Audible worship and praise in singing, clapping, playing musical instruments, standing before the Lord, raising hands to the Lord, all being done decently and in order.
Our Story...
Celebration began in the summer of 2000 in the home of Pastor Cedric & LouAnn Lee. During a time of waiting for direction from the Lord, friends suggested a get-together to worship. Word soon spread and that first Thursday evening brought nearly 20 people to the Lee's home to worship.
Everyone felt that the meetings should continue weekly and each week the gatherings grew larger & larger. It soon became apparent that this was the nucleus of a new church. The people called Cedric to be their pastor, & Celebration Community Fellowship was born. The meetings were moved to Sunday mornings and a Sunday School was started for the children in the back yard. Within weeks however, the church outgrew the Lee's home, and in September of 2000, Celebration began to meet at Placer Hills Elementary School in Meadow Vista.
We welcome you to be a part of it!
Our Mission...
Celebration Community Fellowship exists as a local congregation to witness to the world God's love as revealed in his Son, Jesus Christ, our crucified, risen, exalted and soon-returning King. We live to serve our community in His same love and power, knowing He is "the same yesterday, today and forever."
